EET Europarts has continued its quest to be one of Europe's leading PoS and auto-ID distributors and boosted its Benelux business with the acquisition of The PoS Company.
Based in the city of 's-Hertogenbosch in the south of the Netherlands, The PoS Company was founded four years ago. Despite its youth and comparatively small size, it has a number of franchises across the Benelux region, offering a range of printers, scanners, software, and consumables from vendors including Honeywell, Zebra, and Datalogic.
In a statement translated from the original Dutch, managing director Bob Debie said: "The POS and Auto-ID branch of EET Europarts has shown strong and efficient growth in recent years, and I look forward to being part of this successful organisation. I am convinced that EET Europarts' unique and effective distribution model together with the products, knowledge and competencies that we at The PoS Company have to offer, will build our PoS and auto-ID business."
The PoS Company is EET Europarts' ninth acquisition this year. The firm has frequently made plain its intent to use acquisition to fuel its ambition to become one of Europe's foremost PoS and auto-ID channel players by the close of this decade.

Denmark-headquartered EET, which celebrates its 30th birthday this year, has 34 offices and operations in 27 countries across Europe and Africa. In addition to its PoS and auto-ID operations, it offers hardware parts, storage, networking, consumer electronics, physical security, audiovisual, and mobility wares.
